Asian carp are a serious problem, and Kentucky is getting creative in dealing with the invasive species.

Yes, a pretty large problem created like many others importing a invasive species for a specific problem (algae in farm ponds). Then escaping to the wild creating a huge unintended problem in rivers and lakes. Many of the bass fisherman in my area of Kentucky Lake have given up and selling their boats since the carp have had such a negative effect on the bass population.
The electric shock seems like a good idea if the amount paid for the carp is worth the equipment investment and effort. It could go a long way to resolve a bad problem. BTW, the carp are heading north to the Great Lakes also from what I understand.

Yeah, the carp are coming. News stories about the effort to halt their spread air all the time including underwater floodlights and noise generators.
Kentucky should use that electric shock device on Senator Mitch McConnell. Oops, thought you were a carp.

I think Mitch has already had a lobotomy so not sure if electric shock would do any good. A good dose of losing an election would do wonders though. Hopefully Amy McGrath the lady veteran and pilot will win.
