JA Minister Tourism defends All Inclusive from World Bank criticism - JonTom - 02-28-2018

Article with Minister of Tourism pushing back on World Bank report on All-Inclusives. You can agree or disagree with some of the points he tries to make (or not understand some at all, because they are gobbly-gook-speak, IMO), but I found this sentence rich:

"He noted that all-inclusive resorts like Sandals Resorts International, in addition to selling its services, includes in its package attractions, the local craft market, Jamaican cuisine, among others."

And I'll note that Butch Stewart owns Sandals and just happens to also own the newspaper in which the honorable minister is quoted.

Sounds like the laughable trickle-down theory.

Word of caution: I got a virus warning/pop-up ransom demand while reading the Observer's article so I had to scan my computer and reboot.

A drive by hit, those are the worse kind especially if you don't have any anti virus or malware protection running. Probably in an ad on the page and maybe their web engineers caught it and removed when Dive master used the link.
