It's hard to explain that you spend a good deal of time sitting on the side of the road in JA

"We'll be leaving THIS rum bar and walking up to THAT rum bar." haha
who is the artist in the 3rd video? At first I thought Jacob Miller (the slight falsetto) , but I think it is some other longtime singer. Can't quite place it.

Was in JA a few weeks ago when this shooting at the cookshop in Bath area happened (Up sort of near Petersfield, I think).
I was thinking of this thread (probably b/c I had just read it a few days before) when discussing the shooting with someone from near the area. He was saying the usual, "Gunmen searching for 1 guy, other 3 just in wrong place, wrong time" kind of thing. But also that he wouldn't go into just any old cookshop. "If you are on the road and you see 'X, Y, Zed' cookshop, you don't go in unless you know the people that run the place and the people that frequent there".
To be fair, that may be sound advice, but in this (and others) it could be that a 'non-regular' stopped in and the gunmen tracked him there.
Daniel was going from run bar to rum bar, but I wonder does anyone ever consider (when in more remote areas) you may wander into the rum bar/cookshop that is "wrong place, wrong time"?

There is no doubt that is sound advice . It is sad , but true , in these times , we tourist are more safe in the " tourist zones " in spite of the crime and bs that goes on in those places . We still enjoy the rural areas , but are definitely more cautious . I have developed personal friendships in several small towns around Hanover , but , there are some places I no longer visit . We mostly know the shop owners and patrons in Lances Bay . It was also insisted that we be driven , or escorted home more than ever in the past .
