RJR News / The Police High Command has provided more information on the fatal shooting of a police constable in Negril Monday night.    He has been identified as 28-year-old Andre Alder.    Constable Adler, who was on suspension, was assigned to the Negril Proactive Investigative Unit.    The High Command said at the time of the incident, the policeman was employed to a security company.   Reports are that about 7:45 p.m., Constable Alder was on beat duty along Norman Manley Boulevard when he saw two men sitting on a motorcycle. As he approached them, the pillion disembarked and opened fired, hitting him multiple times.   The attackers then escaped.

It was two guys on a bike who shot and killed a Canadian tourist near Xtabi and seems to be the same M.O. related to several other crimes in Negril over the last year.

I clicked on the URL for the mundinews site and the freebe McAfee security routine (downloaded free with a recent Flash upgrade) reported that it is a "harmful site."

I pass this along only as an FYI. No further research was done, and true or not, everything seems fine here.

(maybe someone reported the site as harmful, accidently.)

I can't believe I need to tell you this, but Freeware always reports issues (ie-false positives) so you'll upgrade to their paid version.   Maybe it's time you took your computer's security seriously rather than attempting to get by on trial version software with limited functionality.
