double whammy !!!! it's all good !! - Oldtimer2 - 08-19-2016 My son and his wife are going to be having a boy !!!! At last !!! I now will have 11 granddaughter's and 2 grandson's !! We are going tuna fishing Sunday evening . I hope it is a quick catch and a good price . My proceeds are going towards my new family member . YIPPEE !!!!! I'm having a GREAT !!!!! day so far . I hope you people will have a wonderful day as well !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RE: double whammy !!!! it's all good !! - Oldtimer2 - 08-22-2016 noon Monday . It was a long , long day/night !!! We left at 10:00AM Sunday and I just got home at about 11:45AM Monday . To long for a guy too old ...I think .Just the 2 of us and 1 tuna . I landed it all by myself with the young guy at the wheel . It took 7 hours !!!! and weight 778lbs dressed . We hope to get about $18/lb of which I get 1/3rd . I haven't been this tired for years . I'm too tired to sleep . We hooked up around midnight so we fought it all night . At least it was cool which was a plus . The fish looks really good but the Asians won't pay fair . They will get $100,000 US at the very least and we are left at their mercy . I dislike that BIG TIME !!!!!!!! Well I guess we will go again Thurs .
