I decided to re-post this from a thread below into a whole new thread bc it's that important:
"That Theodora Project is the real deal, a great public (altho privately-funded) service. I took down some black slacks & skirts & white blouses that the women need in order to go on job interviews, also some hair clippies/barettes & nice nail polishes so they can look great & feel good about themselves. If y'all are looking for another group to donate to, they need these things. The Theodora Project takes in female teens & young women who need to seek a different path in life; provides room, board, job training & assistance & stays with them til they're gainfully employed in the private sector, usually in the tourist industry, and are able to STAY on their feet! Good folks!"
