I am one of the "have nothing to say" votes. I don't go to Jamaica these days, so all I did was pretty much post off topic photos. 

I wish Dread and Rootswoman would have at least posted photos from their Jamaica trip last winter.

However, it is evident that this board lacks leadership (for lack of a better word)

I also undrerstand that the position of leadership requires a big commitment in time

Not sure how to respond to the survey because I do post. Albeit rarely.

However, I will clarify that I post less often than I might otherwise because of what Tim (I think) meant by "The 'elite' few".

Although I wouldn't classify that as "being afraid", rather more "why bother".

When the "xxx is on the warpath again" type threads pop-up I tend to scroll through the thread quickly, or skip it altogether, and may miss things that I might otherwise comment on.

I pretty much agree with what Tim posted. There is one member in particular that just makes having a serious discussion so unsavory that I rarely bother. I've been active on other boards, and have mostly stopped posting on those for similar reasons, but here I have mostly lurked with the occasional comment.

Basically, people on the internet is why I don't post here, which is ironic I think.

Gerryg123 do you see your screename on the upper left side of the page like "Welcome back, gerryg123" if not you are not logged in. Not sure why you would not see pics. Can you see this one? You should be able to if logged in.
