The comments in the Gleaner have made for some good reading.  Eye opening, confirming my intuition in many cases about this whole thing. Here's where my skepticism lies (or maybe I'm just jaded)...they have someone for THIS murder.  What about all the others?  And will this diligence STOP once an arrest or arrests are made in this one case?  Will it be back to the same-old-same-old? There is a problem in Westmoreland Parish and it was my hope that this tragedy would lead to some real WORK on that problem.  I'm afraid all the diligence and awareness we are seeing now from the authorities will all fade away once this particular incident is "cleared". But...I will remain cautiously optimistic and try not to "future trip".
