Aha!  So it was the Queen who was causing all of Jamaica's problems.   Good riddance white she devil. 

Wonder what the new government is going to do next?  Fix any roads?  Fight crime?  Stabilize the currency?

bumping this because elsewhere (other board) Delroy is concerned the "town meetings" for legal pot will be devoid of pupic input.

Dump the Queen? I thought Jamaicas have advantages in Canada and the UK because of its current status.

Sounds like the push for the 51st State at the expense of PR giving up fianical advantages while it is a "possession."

The story FireMon mentions mentions the electron promise of reduced taxes. As though the country has enough $ to do all it should do now! (scarism)

One comment posted below the story implies that Jamaica would get oodels of $ by attracting fruity tourists. (Sure, come on down, you just can't get served in restaurants.)

The next thing would be affixxing unisex icons on trees.
