Marine boat goes missing from Negril Police Station


Loop News has been reliably informed that one of the new marine boats that were recently handed over to the Jamaica Constabulary Force has gone missing.

The vessel reportedly disappeared on Thursday from the Negril Police Station.
In October last year, the United States Embassy handed over 10 boats to the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) to assist in the country's crime-fighting efforts at sea
The 37-foot Boston Whaler vessels, donated by the US Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, are valued at US$1.5 million.

I think you negative Nellie's are over-looking the fact the Negril P.D. safely protected the boat for four consecutive months before it went missing which is quite commendable and deserving of accolades.  Just think of all the officers who opted NOT to steal the boat when they could have!  Certainly a round of promotions is in order.
