family tradgedy - Sharleen - 01-17-2016 My grandsons father was hit by a car while crossing a road in upstate NY and was killed.  The twins just turned eleven last week & are obviously totally devastated.  Their fathers life long friend started a "go fund me" thing for his funeral expenses and money towards his children and within twenty four hours $20,910 has been raised.  Totally amazing.  I had a great conversation with the twins father, he just recently got a great job with a solar company and was really happy with his life insurance policy benefits - we were joking about both of our life insurance benefits for the twins.  He went out for dinner at a restaurant his sister was working at & she asked him to go and get her cigarettes across the street & when crossing, he was hit by a car.  He had a great vacation plan for the twins next month & I told him he needed to sign off on me taking the twins to Jamaica.  I feel like CRAP. http://news10.com/2016/01/15/police-car-hits-pedestrian-in-malta-overnight/ RE: family tradgedy - jitterbug - 01-17-2016 sorry for your loss sharleen!
