Did a tourist thing today. We had never been to Black River.

BEAUTIFUL !!!!!!!!!! Thanks !!! You might not believe it but they take those boats 75 MILES !!!!!! out to the Pedro banks to fish !!!! 3 guys will stay maybe 3 weeks in one of those boats . They buy their food and stuff from the "smack " ( boat that buys the fish ) out there . They can't carry enough fuel to fish and travel so travel is out . The fishermen are forced to sell to the buyer that has fuel . When I fished tuna off the Georges Bank ( 1/2 way between Nova Scotia and Mass ) we always had fuel on our minds . I figure if you weren't gay before one of those Pedro Bank trips you might be when the trip was over . Not much sleeping room or privacy out there . It's just like the Deadleast Catch ,you fish till you can't move and then fish more !!!

OT, you are probably the only one that would be interested. I am trying to hook up for a snook fishing trip (not BR) but down this way. Not sure if it will work or not just talking up a late afternoon/evening fish when the tide is low/going down.

Maybe instead of having dogs for security these guys would do a better job . Catch a crook and feed the gator . Problem solved !!!!

kylake- did you get out fishing?
Several years ago I teamed up with a guy from Minnesota and we hired a local to take us fishing. We ended up heading up the North Negril river. It looked like a "fishy" place, we slowly moved upriver with the 2 of us casting close to shore on either side. Buddy ended up catching a very small snook, and we had a quick glance at a good size tarpon that surfaced near the boat, but never hit the lure.

Depending on the weather I will be fishing tomorrow. The river we will past bloody bay going towards green island is all I know now
