article (Negril) some trying to get buildings higher - Sharleen - 02-10-2015 http://jamaica-gleaner.com/gleaner/20150210/letters/letters3.html well I think this kind of sucks big time -- trying to get buildings allowed to be four stories high, next they will be trying to get high riser buildings allowed.  Where would all the sewer waters go?  You guessed it, right into the beach.  The early developers of Negril were adament not to destroy the vibe and early on fought to propose only three story buildings be allowed to be built.     Here in the northeast we have been hammered with huge amounts of snowfall, just for the record.  I can't tell you the $$$ amount I have spent on getting my too long driveway plowed out.  And now back to sub-zero temperatures I think by tomorrow.  RE: article (Negril) some trying to get buildings higher - Oldtimer2 - 02-11-2015 Where does all the poop go ..that is a question I ask all the time .As it stands right now the treatment plant is only 60% as big as it should be . Yes the rain makes the "river water " a little brown BUT !!!!!!!!!!! guess what is hid inside the " coloured water ". Good guess guys !!!! the 3:00AM super flush !!!! And you can take that to the bank . A.H. Murray a company from Halifax that builds the bridges in Jamaica asked me to look at this situation a couple of years back (when it really wasn't working ) and that is the fact Jack !!!!!!! Those fishermen that drag their boats out the river are sometimes wading in nearly pure poop. Do any of you remember when the sewer pipe poured into the sea at Rick's ? Wasn't that nice !!!
