Blisterin' blizzards Batman !!!! she is blowin' like stink !!!! I have everything battened down tighter than a frog's arse !!! The predicition here is that it will turn into the worst storm in 150 years !!! Spud made the quickest trip outside ever . She let 'er go right from the step !!!

Meanwhile, it's so warm in Minnesota (Twin Cities area) that our outdoor ice rinks, cross-country skiing and snowmobile trails have all melted within the last couple of days.   For those of you unfamiliar with Minnesotans this is widely regarded as a bummer.  3_2_124

My friends in NYC tell me it was pretty much a non-event unless you lived out on Eastern Long Island - thank god.  I'll be there Friday.

I'm hearing reports from friends and family in New England - some have had 30"  , most much less. They all say the snow is super light so power has remained on. However, the wind and the drifts are another issue.
