REBEL Salute ended on a high note at Richmond Estate in St Ann yesterday morning. Patrons left the two-day festival musically satisfied.

Poor Leroy Smart got dissed rather humorously over his troubles working with the house band. "Clearly, he is high on something before he came on," said patron Linval Walker.

always a great show though it is very hard to stay up so late like all night long two days in a row. I feel bad for Leroy Smart, so MANY great shows of his I have attended at Kaiser's during the 1980's. A singer should never ever perform with a band without a couple of days of rehearsal.
I am kind of sorry that the venue has changed - it was special over there in the country area. I am not a particular fan of the Ochi area, though I used to stay over there many many years ago. The vendors are really totally horrendously, like vultures.

Big Ups to the house band (Warrior Love Band) for tolerating a fairly obviously coked up off-key has-been vocalist speed racing back 'n forth across the stage in between warrantless attacks upon the band to "take it down low."
"Foundation artiste Leroy Smart gives what some are calling a bizarre performance at Rebel Salute 2015. Seems as if the "ballistic affair" crooner had trouble with the band and tried to settle it during his performace!"

Third World is simply incredible--starting with an amazing acoustic version of Redemption Song (played on something resembling a cello by Steven "Cat" Coore). I know many of you have heard this song ad infinitum, but it truely lives anew and you simply must devote three minutes to witness this fabulous musicianship.
