Rastagirl777 - oldtimer - 01-08-2015 I haven't been to 1/2 Moon Beach for YEARS !!!!! Boy things have changed !!! Could this become the "new" Office of Nature or Pelican Bar west . They are really !!! nice pics . They have a GREAT !!!! chance to do water taxi's/excursions there from Negril . If the breakwater starts there will !!!!!! be so much sediment in the water it could give them a chance to do give what The Office of Nature did in the past TRANQUILLITY !!!!! KEEP THE JET SKI'S AWAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The changes have come gradually over the last several years - HMB was always our "get away" local-style - quiet, tranquil, NATURAL. Andrew Marr is committed to keeping his property ecologically sound. The bar is fabulous, simply said.  I'll be back this Sunday - and they are having live music there on Sunday too (3-6pm for anyone who is in Negril and interested!) They are now doing snorkeling "excursions" as well - a group that was on the island when we got there week before last was getting on the boat as we were getting off with snorkeling gear. What I've always loved about HMB aside from the chill vibe and natural environment was that there were always lovely places to take a short hike.  The property includes part of the original road to Negril (not the old road - the original one built in the 1940s or 50s.)  Following that road you come upon sweet little sandy areas with lots of cool shells and rocks and you can even, with water shoes and very carefully walk over to the island where the bar sits.
