Hmm, him lie. Everybody knows Negril has a perfectly capable functioning ambulance, lol.

It would be nice if the group was serious and actually walked the talked... I dont know how many times i've seen this or a medical center, hosp, etc that was going to be built..Everyone gets hyped up but then poof!!!! You dont hear of it again...
I'm sure with private funds(ie the hoteliers, etc) that the $$ is there..You just need someone with the leadership, connections ,expereince and above all integrity (not to walk away with $) to see this thing started and finished in a "timely" manner..
Poor Jam and its people need many things-and a decent trauma clinic/medcial center in Negril is one of them...This shouldnt only be about the tourists...(It is insane that there isnt one there based on the # of tourists that do visit)...

You'll love this article. This might be an oversimplification, but from what I gather the two ambulances donated by the Tourism Enhancement Fund immediately get driven wrecklessly and are crashed. And now one of them is to be re-deployed in Kingston leaving the Sav/Negril area with only one--that could be in need of repair.

They should hire Bobby to run the service . He knows everything about everything . They could drive it from webcast to webcast . It would be really close to all the action and no one could argue about how well it works . Problem solved !!!!

I had heard about the protests at Sav Hospital that closed it, or at least limited services, but not about the ambulance being burned. Well, it was out of service for repairs anyway...
