Bush Lands, Hanover - JonTom - 06-20-2014 Does anyone know where Bush Lands, Hanover, is? Given that fire personnel from both Lucea and Negril reportedly showed up at this house I'd guess it to be in Green Island area, or perhaps up in the hills, but have never heard of it. Disbelief! - Hanover man allegedly kills wife, self, as their relationship soured http://www.jamaicaobserver.com/westernnews/Disbelief-_16933363 This is a bit off topic (and perhaps more tragic) than OT's thread on "Jamaican-Foreign breakup", but I will note that people in relationships, at times, behave in ways I would consider irrational.   RE: Bush Lands, Hanover - oldtimer - 06-20-2014 PHEW !!!!!!! that ain't good !!!! The sad part about a story like this is I'll bet $'s that Tammy and I could name (or at least remember ) about a dozen foreign women who have lost their lives at the hand of their Jamaican partner ....and that's in the Negril and area.   RE: Bush Lands, Hanover - Westenders - 06-21-2014 I asked hubby, he is from that area, went to green island high school too.  he says he has never heard of bush lands, and thinks maybe it is in 'bush'  as in country rather than it be an actual place.   RE: Bush Lands, Hanover - rootswoman - 06-21-2014 Very strange story indeed.  It doensn't sound like that man was right in the head - Very Sad  - the poor child (children?) OT - it is true we have heard a lot of terrible and disturbing stories over the years .  We have also heard about at least one Man from the USA who was beat, stabbed and left for dead for attempting to leave his Jamiacan girlfreind.
