I would be interested in the Kingston route, supposedly Port Royal and Portmore? Would make getting to the beach(es) a lot faster and nicer.

Up on Lake Erie the fast ferry to the islands goes 40mph.

This one is S America goes 67: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2351454/Meet-Francisco-The-fastest-ferry-planet-jet-engines-propel-1000-passengers-150-cars-67-MPH.html

My preliminary thoughts are:

1. The only vessel actually shown is not the same as the renderings in the promo videos. Therefore, this boat nor it draft drawings don't exist as yet. So who knows where it can get to?
2. To take best advantage of the cruise trade the best hub would be Falmouth, Ships only arrive threes day a week in MoBay and are smaller than the ships at Falmouth.
3. The ops cost of whatever the final design is will curl your hair.

3."... The ops cost of whatever the final design is will curl your hair." Ain't that the truth !!!!! as Capt said !!! There is only one way to go fast in water 1.Horsepower 2. Those horses eat a PILE !!!!! of hay !!!! The Touch 'n' Go is 44'11" long ,has a 572 Cummings engine and uses approx 15 gal/hr running at 2100rpm ( 15 knots/hr)(17 mi/hr)...on a good day.In order for that kind of vessel to go that fast fuel alone would be north of 100 gallons/hr. AND THAT'S JUST THE FUEL !!!!!! It's like the hospital in Negril..IT AIN'T HAPPENIN' !!!!!!!

Hmmm, will be interesting if they get up and running.
