need some advice - oldtimer - 04-12-2014 I think I'm going to rent 2 rooms at Toby's in MoBay for 1 day . My daughter and kids will be travelling for 18 hours and thought it best to not carry on and "bunk out " for the night. What is the best way to do that ,call the hotel or go through something like expedia . RE: need some advice - Angel - 04-12-2014 Guess it would depend if booking direct would save money. Check it out and compare them. RE: need some advice - DAWN - 04-12-2014 Toby's has always been on the list of hotels for cheaper airfare on charters coming from Mlps..Cheaper for 2 nites hotel and airfare than just airfare alone. RE: need some advice - rootswoman - 04-12-2014 Yup OT I would first plug in my dates here at expedia and see what rates you get http://www.expedia.com/Montego-Bay-Hotels-Tobys-Resort.h922674.Hotel-Information then I would look on the resorts website and plug in your dates http://www.tobyresorts.com/ Lastly, if I wasn't happy or didn't want to pay on line I would call 1-888-790-5264 (this is the number to call from the US , hopefully it works in Canada, they have US and UK toll free numbers) Ive never been there OT but this might help. RE: need some advice - rastagirl777 - 04-12-2014 I will always advise someone to book directly with the hotel and blow off those third party websites like Expedia, Priceline, Kayak and Travelocity. They can be completely inflexible, charge $25 for a booking on top of the "discounted" rate and manage to give you the worst room in the place. However....if the price difference is that significant and you are 1000% sure of your plans not changing - go for it. |
