Zimbali..1st hand please - oldtimer - 04-03-2014 I would like to give my son and daughter-in-law's family an afternoon there. Can anyone give me the " I've been there " Looking forward to the replies.   RE: Zimbali..1st hand please - rastagirl777 - 04-03-2014 I've not only been there - been there many times over the past several years and have watched Mark and Alecia "grow" their dream in the hills. This winter we went up there a total of four times, twice with friends for the farm and cooking tour.  Absolutely AWESOME cannot say enough about it.  The farm tour is great and informal, very conversational and the guide (G-G) knows every inch of that place, every plant, ever herb and is more than happy to tell you all about it.  The cooking demo is akin to watching the food network - Chef O'Brien has personality to spare and boy can he cook!  The food is absolutely fresh and delicious, most of the ingredients coming directly from the farm. We were up there for a party around Christmas time and stayed over the night - peaceful, quiet - lovely.
