Booger, not sure if you have ever been here, only4.5 hours from SoCal and really cool. We come down about 4-5 times a year, currently in a 2 bedroom place on the ocean for $125 a night! We know the people who own the place, great vibe,know Aton of people and a GREAT party town. 3.5 hours from Phoenix so lose by andaneasydrive.lets catchup soon!

So we have seen coming down here for over 13 years, it's only a3.5 hour drive from Phoenix. Many people are concerned from the drug issues in Mexico but this is a really safe area. Funny thought is that,any drug dealers vacation here so they don't allow the "business" in town.
Our first day is always the same, check in around noon (we rent a 2 bedroom condo on the beach for $150 a night and a$45 cleaning fee) run to town, have a favorite little place that makes "street tacos", buy very large shrimp (8-10 count) right off the boats for 7.50 a pound, run to the grocery store, for a few supplies like avocados ($0.21 each), about 150 key limes ($1.25) for homemade margaritas as well as a few other things then back to the condo for beach and happy hour.[/b]

At this time we usually drink copious amounts of alcohol, go for a swim and make dinner. One thing we don't much anymore is drive into to town, the Federales are getting strict, patrolling the area and cutting down on the alcohol while driving. To be honest I have as well, got caught about 10 years ago and spent time in the "tents" for those of you who know about AZ laws.my caul and a dumbass move on my part, I take full responsibility. We used to take taxi's to town (not even a red plate, LOL) to eat & drink but had a bad experience one time. We have made many friends, been to a few locals homes for dinner but now watch out for "cling-ons".
