jitterbug, maybe Firefox will fix the problem and maybe it will not but it is the first thing I would try. This board has been slow all day but there are times it is quite quick so I don't know what the root cause is but I bet Dread would know. I would assume the server the board is stored on is the root on days like this. Not enough bandwidth or ram? I was on a T3 connection so I know the slowness was not on my end.
Catch the board on a day when it is snappy/quick acting and give FF a try. Let me know if that does or doesn't work please.

Jitterbug, the site is running very fast today so if you get a chance to test with Firefox today would be a good time.

Yes - you are right - the server is the issue.
We will be changing over to another server in the near future but Dreadneck needs to do some work on the board first - i think he said he has to rebuild it.
He started working on it, but between a major project at work, and us moving this weekend he is out straight.

No rush on my end as real world project work and moving certainly takes precedent over a forum playground :-)
