It is nice to stroll the beach around sunset, I remember that fondly.

We said we would never do beach again bc its so busy but I think it is a jewel and does have alot to offer so we may well end up eating our words.

Our last visit to Ja. we did stay somewhere on the path less trodden. DH and I loved it. The kids loved it too but it was very quiet. Game of Uno at night was our highlight.

Our next trip to Ja. 2 of our 3 kids will be teenagers and a 21 yo will be coming with us, I fear they may have out grown poking around for crabs and a game of hide n seek. My eldest dawta has already asked if we can stay at a hotel next time so they can meet people and I do feel her plight. She will be 16. The 21yo works for DH and he has never been to Ja before and this may well be his only visit.

I think they would enjoy 7 Mile which after all is legendary. They can go off for a beer without ever having to hit the road. I thought only today, 'we come from an island of peace and tranquility, of course they are going to want something a bit lively' I considered cliffs, but the properties I like that are within our price range just arent suitable for our group and if the kids want to wander....where?

So I will be looking for somewhere funky on the beach for us for 7 nights. Then a week somewhere more rural to suit us old love birds. Compromise
