I am a budget traveler, it is what it is, but $30 pp for a shared ride is not exactly cheap for me. This upcoming trip won't even worth considering if I can't find a reasonable way to move around. A private driver might not be an option.

Yes, I have the Citibank World card and it provides coverage for Jamaica.

renting a car is easy . driving isn't all that hard!! as others have said., you can rent a nice little yarris for 150 a week + 10$ a day insurance Chalis or prospective. As far as I know,chase issued world, and mastercard business platinum,are the only american cards good for Jamaica.Canada has others. Last season, the best round trip,private, transfer, from Mobay to Negril, for 1 -4,was 120.

That's what happens when prices are not increased in small increments. It hadn't changed in several years and was $18 a couple years before that I think. If it had gone up 1-2 bucks each year folks would have complained about that too. Even I griped about it this time, lol.

Options are decreasing... I e-mailed Alfred over a week ago and never heard back. Hmmm....

Unfortunately their website is pretty basic. No search function and not a whole lot there. But I have plenty of time yet before I leave. Amazing I bought a car in two days but take two years to make the simple decisions. LOL Thanks everyone for all of your tips.
