Please bear with me because I'm not to 'puter savie . It's worth the little effort. At the lobster boat races this weekend there was a near 2 man fatality during a race and the effort to stop the boat and what happened is SUPER EXCITING. Maybe someone can post the way to do this easy !!!.It's worth it !!Type in "CBC news Pictou lobster boat races " and then the video of the accident and save comes up.This is a great see it moment . please check it out !!! Now this is the kind of stuff that I'm involved in stupid eh !!!

My gosh, that's crazy! OT, did you really race boats like that too??!! I thought that one was gonna have a bad ending, but your Royal Canadian Mounted Police did a good job corralling her!

Yes I did race those boats. They DID !!!!! have a kill switch that didn't work . Must have been from China . It's a rush !!!!! We're not always tied to Mommy's apron.

Well that sure did add some excitement to the day!

My mother once told me that the things that go wrong are the ones we remember (this was after a disastrous senior prom) She said you will have a good story to tell. She was right, I do have a good story and I have told it on multiple occasions over the years.

This story here is a good example of a great story to pass down over the years - eh?

Gee Daniel your being a bit rough on "these country boys ". I'm one of them. The engines in these boats are worth $ 20,000.00 CDN. The price money is about $ 5,000.00 .There are 16 races over 3 months. Not much education but lots of smarts . They are going upwards of 120 KMS/hr... It's certainly isn't sponsored by Hendricks that's for sure.
